Congratulations to the winner of the Cardillo Weightbelts®, Fab Four Model Contest... Words cannot express or even begin to measure the amount of appreciation I have for the continued support and unconditional love from my family and friends throughout my journey of Operation Emmy and the most recent Cardillo Weightbelts®, Fab Four Model Contest. Under unfortunate circumstances the outcome of this contest have not been in my favor and I must share with you all the reason behind it since I have a right to be honest to all who have been true to me. Please find below the email I received regarding the matter at hand from the social media department: When Cardillo Weightbelts® created The Fab Four Model Contest, we wanted a fun way for our newest member to join our family. Whomever would be the winner would have worked her butt off, networked, socialized and earned her spot as brand ambassador for our company. In turn we’d offer her a spot as a Fab Four member, world-wide recognition, magazine publications and sponsorships. In lieu of recent events, it’s come through our attention that there has been cheating involved, which has been confirmed by analytics from our social department and contact with Facebook. Obviously this is upsetting to us and goes against everything we stand for in a company. We are going to end the contest, however want to be mindful of you as well as this is an embarrassing situation. In response to this email, I have attached my reply below and hope that I have not lost the respect and love of my followers: To whomever this may concern: While reading your email multiple times and confiding in a few people who have been constantly supporting me greatly throughout this contest, I would like to express that I am standing firm to the fact that I, Emmy Agustin, did not cheat by any means to win this contest, but rather humbly attempted to share who I truly am so that I can represent a company with great respect from the world. If along the way there were people supporting me who have not followed your rules, I apologize, but take full responsibility because my community of followers have recently exponentially grown due to my own social campaign of Operation Emmy. In the midst of this social media campaign growth, my family and friends around the entire world, most especially in the Philippines because of my bloodline, have grown to love ME and my passion for this industry. My intention was to bring a large population who love the real me as a relatable person, to support who I am and what I represent in life which includes the companies I work for. I would not want to disappoint them in any way for their hard work and love. I do not have control of what your company represents nor do I in any way want to exemplify characteristics of disrespect or dishonesty, but if the one you chose to represent you is not me, then I will gladly continue to represent who I truly am with the people who are real and can help build me as Operation Emmy. I will obviously have to deal with whatever consequences you will serve me since this is your contest, but it is apparent that I have no benefit in either option, so I will not choose one over the other and just have you crown the person noble of representing a company that is deceived by my own genuine passion for networking and social interactions rather than my physical or self righteousness. My friends and family from around the world have only shared my passion and love for life with others and it became known through social media. Both yours and my expectations of this contest that is based on likes have probably been shattered unknowingly because who know that there are that many people around the world interested in this matter. Since day 1, I have only worked hard to promote what I believe in and trusted that my followers will also promote what I believe in with honesty and justice. Sadly the downfall of social media is that it is public and many things will go viral, so even someone with over 100,000 followers will still have fake people attempting to bring them down. I know I have a multitude of real people that care about who I am and real followers that support my nature, so I will also then apologize in advance for any thing that comes from this matter that I do not have control over because I have the obligation to tell my own followers of the situation. So I will come to the conclusion then that you have all already decided that Brittini is the winner whether it is based on truth or favoritism, but I will need to be honest with all of my followers to say that the only option is to crown Brittni and that I will have no further connection to your company. I will also ask them to show respect to you all for reaching out to me, but apparently since I have no control over others, I will in advance say that I do not know what the outcome will be. I will swear that I will control myself as I have always been throughout the contest because I have a dignity and reputation to protect as a representation of my morals and self worth. So please feel free to express to all who have been following the contest the last few months what your decision is and I will congratulate as needed in the end.
