Congratulations to writer and Noble prize winner John Maxwell Coetzee, who wrote to the Spanish parliament telling them that bullfights were archaic , violent and bloody and that to murder bull for diversion was a thing of the dark ages and not of a 21st century Spain! Thank you John Maxwell Coetzee for this and for asking the Spanish government to stop trying to get the EU to declare bullfights an immaterial cultural property.. that is not culture .. !!
