Leaders get a little bit more actually; which can go up to $230,000 if youre the House Speaker. Expense accounts for members of the House are call the “Members Representational Allowance”, the average is about $1.2 million a year and you know youve got 435 members. Its better if you are in the Senate, cause they get an even larger expense account, $3.2 million. That’s $800 Million so far for expenses!
