Congress never wanted local leaders at states....they were highly insecure and could not tolerate anyone other than their head family becoming popular. If at all some one emerges they will swiftly punish and pull him down. Moopanar was punished for growing as a powerful leader. Jagan Reddy was punished for gaining popularity after his fathers death. There are many such stories. I think Cong will never learn lessons and todays youth has nothing to associate with Cong...other than the sons and grandsons of old time Cong leaders who wants to stick only for power and positions. My prediction is in next 5 years Cong will become totally irrelevant and AAP will emerge as a 2nd largest party at national level, if these guys have some political vision and clarity of what and how they want to do things. Otherwise Modi is a person who will decimate everyone else with his performance (Atleaset perceived performance) and BJP will be easily in power for next 10-15 years.
