Conn Wonder Straight Soprano sax for sale Thinning the herd…and I don’t play soprano enough to keep them all. S/N 129704 should make it a 1924 Wonder. Low Pitch. Satin silver, with gold wash inside bell, bright silver finish in engraved area. In playing condition. No dents. Lacquer around 80%...most lacquer wear is at neck cork, and a blotch in the engraving area. Keyed from low Bb to high F. Rolled tone holes. Case is more modern…looks like 70s Selmer? Neck cork OK, but beginning to chip a little at the end. Action is good, nothing binding or sticking. Pads look decent, but beginning to show age in some spots. No signs of previous repairs that I can find. Unsure if original lacquer. Includes both mouthpieces as shown. One is a no-name, the other is a Yanagisawa 5. Both have good-looking tables and tips, no bite marks. Vinyl single screw ligature also included. Asking $1,300.00 USD, with insured shipping included to the lower 48.
