Connect With Your Goshen“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.” Psalms 32:7 (KJV)For the last three days, we have looked at the Goshen factor. This is not magical, it is not something that just falls on you. You enter into Goshen deliberately. Yesterday, we saw when Jacob went before Pharaoh to demand for Goshen. Goshen is not accidental. How then do you connect with your Goshen? Goshen today is not a specific location that every one must physically live in. Goshen is the presence of God.The Psalmist said in the scripture above “God is my hiding place”. Are you in God? Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour? Have you surrendered to Him? Or did you give your life to Him in church on Sunday and as you walked out of the door of the Church you picked it back? To live in Goshen, you must be ready to live a life of total surrender to God. Let the word of God be your guide. Our hope is in the name of the Lord. The Goshen factor is still at work today. When you connect to the Goshen factor, you are safe in His hands. He covers you with favour as with a garment. Head or tail, in spite of the world economy, you are still on top. However, if you are not connected, you will be walking about naked and you know what the enemy can do to you.Your Goshen is that place God has specially reserved for you and instructed you to stay in and operate in. Your Goshen is your place of obedience. I challenge you to connect to the Goshen factor and you will not be put to shame. Your portion in the time of famine is abundance and in the time of difficulty it is laughter. The Lord will never forget His own. David said I have been young, now I am old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging bread. Your part is to ensure you stay in the secret place of the most high (Psalms 91:1). Fear not, no demon is permitted to cut short your life, you are not permitted to die, no coffin will contain you, no grave will receive you, you are “unkillable”. That is when you can lift your eyes to the hills from whence cometh your help. Get ready because it is your time to testify.Further reading: Psalm 37: 18-29, Psalm 91:1-15Daily Bible Reading: Morning Esther 9-10; Evening Acts 7:1-21
