Why was A.I.G./s loan rate 14% initially...and then 8.5 percent...while these banks paid 2.25 on their loans? And why, in the A.I.G. deal, did the government receive a 79.9% equity stake with voting rights, while in no other bank assistance the Fed offered the banks, did the government receive stock that carried voting rights?
