Conscious Relationship We see our own shadow in relating. The more intimate, the more directly we are confronted with it. When both parties are solid with that, then the emphasis goes onto being authentic. Selling out our deepest authenticity becomes unbearable. Most people are looking for a relationship to give them love...make them feel whole. But wholeness is not given, its integrated from within. Intimate relationship shines light everywhere. So running to relationship and away from it for something else than to see and be seen, are both a kind of avoidance. We generally have both dynamics: fear of being smothered and: Fear of abandonment It takes two persons with the same clarity of what relationship is about. Fulfillment is Self discovery. It can be shared. But it cannot be given or received by the act of relationship. Commitment to Truth translates well to commitment to relationship, when both individuals are deeply committed to Truth. Sometimes we attract people to us to trigger some deep recognition...and then part ways. Sometimes it takes getting what we dont want to realize what we really do want. When both people are solid in their own processes. The fears of smothering and abandonment soften tremendously. And this kind of relationship is a great ally for recognizing Wholeness within.
