Conservatives are in an uproar over Colbert taking Lettermans place. Rush Limbaugh said, The media has declared war on the heartland. Republicans want to repeal the civil rights act. Not because they are bigots, but because it takes freedom away from business owners to serve who they want. They say we dont need a law mandating equal pay for women. They want to make voting more difficult so we are protected from voter fraud. Of the last 197 million votes cast, there have been 10 people busted for voter fraud. Ive been deliberately trying to stay away from political posting. But this is just too much. People that say both parties are equally bad are just wrong. At the least they are uninformed. If the republicans could, theyd repeal the 20th century, where all these nasty rules and regulations were created. Im not trying to convince anyone. Im venting. Its so disappointing to me that these people can get elected chief dog catcher or any other position. How did so many become so ignorant?
