Consider this: In the recent election for the Colorado State - TopicsExpress

Consider this: In the recent election for the Colorado State Senate there were 586,546 votes cast for Republicans and 347,139 votes cast for Democrats. Yet, Republicans emerged with only a one-seat majority. In the Colorado State House, there were 982,836 votes cast for Republicans versus 804,265 votes cast for Democrats. But in spite of this evident numbers advantage, we remain in the minority by two seats. The Democrats have leveraged their minority position into their advantage through districting. Republicans must control the state legislature in the year 2020 in order to draw the next district lines. And this may even include an eighth congressional district, based on the next census.
