Consider this... You can see less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum (color spectrum) and you can hear less than 1% of the acoustic spectrum. as you read this you are traveling at 230 miles per second across the galaxy (roughly 18,300 miles per hour). 90% of the cells in our body carry their own microbial DNA and they are not "you" , holding no similarity to the DNA that makes you who you are. The atoms in your body are 99.9999999999999999% empty space and none of them are the ones you were born with. Human beings have 46 chromosomes, 2 less than the common potato. The pic that i posted of the rainbow started the gears turning in my head. The existence of a rainbow depends on the conical photo receptors in your eyes; to animals without cones , the rainbow does not exist. So you dont just look at a rainbow, you create it, which is pretty amazing considering that all the beautiful colors you see represent less than 1% of the entire color spectrum. I have always been fond of biology and the sciences, and over the years have educated myself somewhat, to answer questions concerning my faith verses the Darwin scenario, Questions which i believe most of us seek answers to at some juncture in our lives. And it has to a great degree solidified my faith and my belief, and if you read the above information, it sounds to me like God has given us only a tiny fraction of who and what we are, the other 99.9% percent is in reserve for what we will one day become, when we sit at the right hand of the author of all things that are great, good, and true.
