Consider yourself warned!!!! ...Please be aware of Robert Colbert owner of Colberts Auto Outlet and Springs Road Car Care of Hickory NC..This man is a manipulator. He preaches the word of God and quotes scripture yet he degrades others spreads untrue gossipp constantly and tries to cheat people out of money, he had me turning off check engine lights so he could sell cars that he knew needed converters and would give customers trouble later on as well as other things, (please know that employees at Colberts are great people and have never done anything shady so please know I am not speaking of them) I was a so called partner with him but after 9 months with him my partnership was never finalized and he tried to rip me off of my bonuses.he kept giving me excuses as to why it wasnt finished.. Then on Tuesday he says he is gonna lease me the shop at a discounted rate and us split ways so I can continue my business... I get everything ready for the changeover and on Thursday he once again goes back on his word, and gave me a rediculous figure, he conned me into going into business with him and made promises and a 1yr verbal commitment that he did not keep... I was warned by previous employees of his actions now I am warning you....Please use caution if you do business with this man as who he claims to be and who he is, is totally 2 different people...this is not slander as I have all documents to back my claim I just feel it is the right thing to do if it will spare someone else from being cheated by this man. ....thank you! !!!
