Considering the gravity of the flood situation, an emergency radio channel should be established, fully dedicated to produce and disseminate information about the distribution of aids, the rescue plan and its progress, to report on missing people, to connect displaced family and friends and in worst case scenarios, information about unclaimed bodies. The national television or radio channels should also provide such valuable information to those in a disaster area, apart from focusing on jumlah pusat pemindahan, jumlah pemindahan or visuals on search and rescue operations. They should also drive awareness to those outside the affected areas including for the purpose of generating volunteers or donors.
