Considering the ignoble role played by retired General Ikechukwu Omar Sanda Nwachukwu during the Biafran genocide when he served in the Nigerian Army against the Igbo’s, it would have been apt to, in addition to nominating this Ikechukwu Omar Sanda Nwachukwu character as part of the South East (Igbo) delegation to the said National Conference, to have also included General Olusegun Obasanjo, Theophilus Danjuma, Yakubu Gowon and other principal actors in the Biafran genocide as representatives of the Igbo’s at President Goodluck Jonathan’s ‘National Conference’. The practical equivalent would have been to nominate Adolf Hitler or any one of the several Jewish Nazi collaborators to represent Jewish interests at a post-World War II reconciliation forum. Certainly, the ongoing ‘national conference’ is proving far from what some of had long agitated for. Let us restructure and renegotiate our decaying contraption!
