Considering the recent tragedy and loss of a young life in a road accident just outside Mintlaw. I find it sickening to have witnessed 2 youngsters racing each other home from Mintlaw towards Fraserburgh. The road was wet, icy in parts, very busy with folk getting home and also dark. The 2 vehicles were a red fiesta St and a yellow/gold Megane sport with a silvery chequer effect on it. They over took, undertook, cut in and out at high speed, often with traffic coming toward them. No thought for any user on the road they were putting at risk as they forced cars to avoid them from both head on and also those they forced their way in front of. This was at 4:45pm. Im sure there were dozens of road users which will have also witnessed this shocking and down right dangerous racing of these 2 absolute idiots. I was praying that a police vehicle was somewhere and could stop these 2 complete brain dead pratts before they eventually end up causing another tragedy and more loss of life.
