Conspiracy Watchs photo. America has something called The Great Western Dessert running from the Canadian border roughly, right through the States and on into Mexico. It is absolutely sun drenched and for the most part it is unproductive land it being what it is: hot, dry dessert. What a potential for electricity production! Look at the Sahara dessert too. Its massive as well and not used in any way at all. If Germany can do this with a temperate climate, then what is holding the rest of the world back except probably big oil money interest, and corrupt, unimaginative politicians?
