Constatine, the movie studio behind movies like Pompeii, Mortal Instruments and The Resident Evil film franchise have announced that they plan on turning their Resident Evil and Mortal Instruments properties into tv shows. It is unclear whether both leads (Mila Jovovich and Lily Collins) will also star in their respective roles. However, what is certain is that the Mortal Instruments sequel has been scrapped and will be continued as a tv show instead. In Other news, Len Wiseman (Underworld) announced that an Underworld spin-off movie and tv series are in works in addition to the sequel that will focus on Selenes (Kate Beckinsale) journey. Wiseman did not state which project will be filmed first but expressed confidence in all 3 projects being completed. Source: Variety, IGN, Screenrant.
