Constituents Embarrass Ibro’s Son, Mohammed Idris Ibrahim at Olamaboro. In what could be described as a day of reckoning was Tuesday last week at Okpo the headquarters of Olamaboro local government area where a Member of House of Representatives Honourable Mohammed Ibrahim Idris was booed and shouted down by his constituents. The law maker who is representing Omala/Olamboro/Ankpa federal constituency of Kogi state was on the entourage of Governor Idris Wada to Olamaboro LGA in continuation of the state wide thank you tour and the electorate told him plain that his stay at the National Assembly was long over due. While presenting his goodwill message at the Okpo township stadium where the Governor was hosted for a reception,the law maker was called all sorts of un printable names.Some of the constituents who are all supporters of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shouted “come down Honourable bench warmer”. The arena became very rowdy as security operatives had to employ extra engagement tactics to douse the tension. Honourable Mohammed Idris is the son of the immediate past Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris whose election to the national assembly was widely believed to be an imposition on the people.
