Tetra Tech CES has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Construction Manager for a Foreign Assignment in Jordan. The Construction Manager will manage the local (foreign country) subcontractor’s activities and site personnel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Communicate and interface with local stakeholders, local subcontractors, and authorities involved in the planning, design, and construction activities. · Manage, monitor, and track project objectives (scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of quality) and ensure that the installed/removed quantities specified in the subcontracts are tracked on a daily basis. · Ensure construction is completed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and the QC Plan. · Coordinate and maintain logistics of all in-country task elements including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: · An engineering degree is desirable but not required. · Possess a minimum of 10 years construction management related experience, preferably in an overseas assignment. · Possess strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills. · Possess good leadership qualities. · Knowledge of other languages as well as English is a plus.
