New traffic signals control traffic turning onto Route 2 east and west. · Route 100 Northbound – Route 100 northbound has been reduced to one lane from the intersection of Route 2. A new traffic signal controls Route 2 eastbound traffic turning onto Route 100. This temporary traffic pattern change will be in effect until approximately mid-September while the former Route 100 northbound is reconstructed. Motorists should be aware of pedestrians and bicyclists as the new traffic pattern change consists of 12’ travel lanes with no shoulders. Traffic – Traffic delays can be expected throughout the week. Paving crews will also start preparing driveway aprons and side road entrances for final paving. Ditching and guardrail operations will be working throughout the project area all week. Traffic – All work will require alternating one-way travel around the construction area. Traffic control personnel will be present to assist in maintaining traffic flow.
