Construction has begun on unique props that will provide realistic training opportunities to US&R teams throughout the state. This project is the culmination of twenty years of planning, is 100% funded by State and Federal resources, and will benefit not just our community, but our entire state and country. The Groundbreaking Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:30AM at the California Fire & Rescue Training Authoritys training site located on Zinfandel Drive in Rancho Cordova. Metro Fire Chief Kurt P. Henke, Mark Ghilarducci, Director of California Office of Emergency Services, and Sacramento Fire Chief Dan Haverty will be speaking at the event.
