We are looking for highly motivated and zealous individual for the following position: Position: CC&B Technical Consultant Location: Karachi Pakistan (May require international travel) Job Description: Technical consultants, preferably working experience on Oracle Utility Application Framework (OUAF) are required to be part of a team to work with Functional consultant team in implementing business process, data conversion activities, prepare system for production, communicate with software vendor to resolve issues, mentor and provide knowledge transfer to client technical staff, interface with third party vendors to facilitate technology transfer and manage the project areas in an Oracle Utility Applications implementation. As a Technical Consultant you would not just be solving IT problems; youll be working with our clients and functional consultants to help them meet their business needs through innovative solutions. Youll be a trusted adviser, helping our clients make better decisions. Using in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise, youll work directly with clients to select, implement, support and effectively integrate packaged technology solutions into their diverse business environments. Job Responsibilities: • Contribute as a technical team member in consulting, designing, and implementing solution • Participate in requirements definition and analysis • Participate in Functional Design activities, designing and developing Business Process Flows • Test Plan Development and Execution, Test Script Design and Development, • Support Client Training and System Adoption • Production Support and Issue Resolution • Strong communication skills: building solid relationships with clients; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks Desired Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Preferably Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms • Preferably hands on experience of developing applications in COBOL • Solid understanding of J2EE architecture • Preferably 2 year experience in working in technical implementation capacities • Ability to take business requirements from concept to production • Solid experience in managing complex projects and must be able to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of management. • Excellent communication with both written and oral skills. • Effective organizational skills and time management skills.
