Job Description: - Setting the accounting cycle and policies for the financial department. - Setting documentation cycle and internal control regulations. - Produce strategic financial plan and budgets. - Control income and expenditure flow of the company’s activities. - Ensure that income / expenditure operate within budget and comply with objectives of the company. - Forecast income stream and expenditure for current and future activities. - Produce cash flow forecasts. - Prepare financial reports and monthly forecasts. - Finalization of accounts. - Manage day to day bank activity. - Responsible for annual report to the Owners. - Lead and monitor the accounting team and operations. - Produce performance management reports (KPIs’). - Verify and monitor all variance and tracking of reasons behind - Manages the activities of the cost accounting function including : - Ensuring the proper allocation of overhead - Develop costs trends and recommendations for cost control measures - Cost control reports - Produce business units Income statements - Accurate of function units - Customer profitability reports - Consolidate and / or separate information received and independently - Review and posting for recurring journal entries and adjustments to distribute and reflect charges in appropriate general ledger account. - Establish chart of account - Compile data for special reports as required - Set daily operational plans and meet financial deadlines. - Preparation of financial statements on a MTD & YTD basis. - Preparation of financial statements analysis. - Coordination of budget sheets and data collection. - Participate in financial & statistical & profitability analysis and - Maintenance of monthly and yearly GL. - Ensure compliance with legal & governmental requirements, internal policies & procedures and external audit requirement. - Liaise with all internal & external authorities. - Overlook accounting system.
