Consulting Profile Objective: The primary purpose of the role is to support the Team Leader towards providing Advisory Services/ preparing knowledge reports largely to Governments & its allied entities in key sectors/ areas of interest to the Bank - Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Agribusiness, Transaction Banking, Tourism, Education, Healthcare, Energy & Renewable Energy, eGovernance, etc... Support the TL to develop relations with Government departments at Centre and State level including government departments and organizations, esp. in the key sectors of interest. Responsibilities: Create, maintain relationships with Government departments and organizations and aid in business development/ knowledge partnerships Build Knowledge of the Government, its functioning and keep up-to-date / gather intelligence on government projects/ programs Create, maintain relationships with important industry chambers & associations and aid in business development/ knowledge partnerships Business Analysis, Consulting / Project Management including: o Transaction Advisory /bid process advisory projects including preparing bid documents and interacting with officials and selecting vendors o Policy Advisory / White Papers o Sector-specific / state specific knowledge reports Build own knowledge (cross-functional) in focus sectors such as agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, energy & renewable energy & education as needed for engaging with government. Data gathering, organizing and synthesizing for preparation of knowledge articles/in-house reports/research on specific themes, sector, state such as above. Responsible for increasing business opportunities/penetration in the area of concern and creating business spin off for the bank particularly for Government Banking & Branch Banking Conceptualize initiatives to tap specific business opportunities for the bank in working with the government & to build good will in the Government Engaging with other groups related to business requirements and assisting in solving complex business requirements and provide solutions/alternatives for the above Developing and implementing business critical initiatives & value propositions for strategic customers Developing frameworks for improving business processes and developing new processes Internal / External Communications, database management, reporting.
