Ackerman Cumberland & Lincoln, District 45 (401) 658-0981, [email protected] Dear Representative Ackerman, I hope you will consider supporting the GMO labeling bill H7042 & H7093 in Rhode Island. As a Cumberland resident, and someone who also wants to ensure areas like Franklin Farms arent eventually forced to use the GMO giants seeds, we need GMO labeling locally simply so that consumers are provided the right to know what is in their food. That would be an important first step, creating awareness for what foods have GMO ingredients so the RI consumer can choose not to participate in this current dangerous food experiment by making it impossible to identify GMO foods. Having a solid background in nutrition and health, and using these skills to educate patients daily, I know I dont want to be forced to opt-in to this food experiment, for myself, my family or the patients I serve.
