***Contact a New Hope rescue to save HACHI tonight before it is too late!**** SHY AND MISUNDERSTOOD!! It seems that poor poor Hachi was not valued much in his prior home. When his family moved they had no problem dumping him in a shelter and walking away without a care. They told the shelter he did not like strangers or other dogs, but strangely enough, Hachi has done amazingly well in a shelter full of strangers, although he was a bit scared and reactive around other dogs. We have to remember, though, that he has lost everything he has ever known and loved and at only 1 year old, he can still learn. Hachi needs a patient, loving person, to show him the ropes and believe in him - someone who will show him that his life matters and that he is a valued member of the family. Just because Hachi is shy and scared, it does not mean he should have to pay with his life. The shelter is ready to kill him tomorrow at noon. There is still time to save him but the clock is ticking fast. Please advocate for Hachi tonight.
