Contacting State agencies July 2013 Question We are about to move house. Do I have to let the Department of Social Protection know our new address? Answer If you are getting a payment from the Department, including Child Benefit, then you should let them know your new address. You can send your change of address to them using the online form on welfare.ie or you can write to them. You can get the postal address for whichever social welfare payment you are getting either from any social welfare local office or from the State services section of the telephone directory.
