Contemplating... so, A few weeks ago,(after returning from a trip where we had Ginger the Corgi stay at the vet for a week), we got Ginger the Corgi home and the very next morning (Sun) she began having bloody diahreah, bile vomiting and lethargy, with heavy breathing. Scared the poo out of me... so I took her in to the vet Monday morning. 500$ in testing and meds later they had no answer. Took her home and even with the meds, she became worse! (Heavy drooling, wobbly/shaky. Another trip to the vet Tues, and they wanted to keep her and put her on IV fluids due to dehydration. I gently stated that she was in perfect health when I brought her in, and asked, that since it was only the next morning, was it possible she caught something there during her stay? I also shared quietly that I was not happy about having just spent 500$ with no answers and now have to spend more. They said Ginger has been with us a long time, we will treat her for free. They would never admit it was even remotely possible she had contracted something during her stay. So, long story short, I get a letter with her records today, stating that due to my behavior with their staff, they could no longer treat Ginger. What the? I am disappointed in their undeserved reaction.
