Contemplation on Nam leads to honour; singing God´s praises is the real thread. There is no thread on his hands or his feet, none on his tongue or his eyes. Thus the Brahmin goes arround threadless himself, but twists thread to put on others. He solemnizes weddings for a fee,* consults astrological tables and points to favourable ways.
