Contenders and league leaders Nkana title credentials will be tested on Saturday when they visit defending champions Zanaco. Both sides come into this match at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka looking to make a statement with regards the direction of this year’s title with just eight games to go before the championship is decided. 2012 MTN/FAZ Super Division champions Zanaco face Nkana still reeling from a shock 1-0 home win against struggling Konkola Mine Police on September 25. That defeat saw Zanaco tumble from third to fourth , staying put on 36 points and seven adrift of record 11-time champions Nkana. "It is big maybe in terms of quotation but it is just a league game," Zanaco coach Keagan Mumba said. "Nkana beat us away 1-0 we have to work hard. They are a good team and having a good run this season." A defeat for Zanaco will be a psychological blow in the battle for the 2013 crown. Furthermore, their visitors Nkana need to win away to stay top to maintain their slender lead against second placed Zesco United on 43 and 42 points respectively. Meanwhile, Zanaco head into the game without key midfielder Roderick Kabwe who sustained an injury a fortnight ago in the Barclays Cup quarterfinals. Nkana on the other hand are sweating on the fitness of defender Christopher Munthali who has to pass a late fitness test to be diclerd fit and Donashano Malama who is not 100 pecent fit though the p;ayers have traveled withvthe team to lusaka
