Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. - Colossians 4:2 Praising God for the gracious way He has answered prayers over the past year for College Hill Presbyterian Church, the pulpit search committee, and the man of Gods choosing to lead this church. Thanking Him for blessing the faith and prayers of this fellowship for over 175 years. The Service of Installation for the Reverend Justin McGuire is tonight. We are thankful for his calling. For about 30 of these years, Dina and I and our family have been blessed by the Saints at College Hill Presbyterian Church, the Reverend Alan Cochet Family, and, more recently, the Reverend Tim Fortner Family. I also appreciate the fact that Pastor McGuire has learned that it is not wise to begin the childrens sermon with the question, Are you ready? ;-) Praising Him that ...what we preach is not ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus sake. - II Corinthians 4:5
