Continue to enlightened the masses especially Black people from other countries. Alternative (todays) Hip Hop music has done us a great injustice. Some Black people over here in the UAE beit local Emirates who look as dark as me, Sudanese, Ethiopia, etc. Have the notion that Black people in America are known as Niggers, Negroes, or Niggas like its a nationality, and have no clue that all of those terms are inappropriate. I had to explain to a couple of local Emirates at my gig on Saturday, who looked like Ray Ray and Mookie from da hood, that I am NOT any of those names and they are very bad terms to describe the Original Man of the planet Earth. These terms were used to degrade us and modern day hip hop has made the word Nigga a fashion outfit. Those artists wont feel the pain or reality of it until they travel to another country and a young boy or man walks up to them and say, Whats up my Nigger when he is really trying to say my Nigga. Either way the feeling isnt good and the person has to be corrected with love because of their ignorance. Dont think Ill experience that again from them. They seem to understand now. It really couldve gone another way if I didnt have knowledge of myself and emotional control.
