Continues its efforts to provide a sigh of relief to the recent flood victims, Udhampur Police distributed relief material to flood victim of Panjar, Kasoori areas of Panchari Udhampur. In order to monitor and accelerate the pace of relief process in a transparent manner, SSP Udhampur Sh. Mohd Suleman Choudhary IPS, visited flood affected areas of village Kasoori, Panjar of Panchari Udhampur and met the family members of flood affected families. He was accompanied by Sh. Khalil Ahmed Poswal Addl. SP Udhampur who has been directed to camp in the Kasoori Panjar areas of Panchari and closely monitor/accelerate the pace of relief works so that the maximum assistance could be provided to the victims of this natural calamity. About 30 Tents were erected for accommodating dislocated families at Kasoori Village and about 60 more Tents have also been provided to be erected at Kasoori and Panjar areas for flood victims as temporary accommodation. Beside this about 70 blankets were distributed by district Police in Kasoori area and 230 more blankets have been provided to the Police team for their distribution among the aggrieved families of Kasoori and Panjar areas.
