Continuing its commitment to continuous product upgrades, Airbus launched the enhanced A330neo (new engine option) at the 2014 Farnborough Airshow. Scheduled for a fourth quarter 2017 service entry, the A330neo will be equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines and shares 95 per cent commonality with existing A330 aircraft. Other upgrades include improved aerodynamic performance and the latest cabin developments – including Airbus’ modern comfort standard for economy class: at least 18-inch wide seats.
