Continuing last year’s successes we have started the year off in the same way. Another brilliant performance at the Lancashire Cross County Championships with 16 of our members represented the club in this event. Our Veteran ladies regained the gold medal they won last year with a dominant win by over 15 places. Amazingly our men’s Veteran team, not to be overshadowed, also won a medal, but only silver; nevertheless still impressive for a club not know for entering men’s cross country events.
