Continuing on the book of Judges, we must realize that there is no escape of the consequences of disobeying God. Just like the Nation of Israel we not only disobey God, but we also often reject Him. We must deem ourselves warned through Scripture, should we choose to disobey or reject God, we can experience devastating consequences or wrong actions. Once the old generation all had died, the next generation did not worshop Jehovah as their God, not did they care about the miracles God had done. Scripture clearly teaches that the greatest task and responsibility of families, is to teach Christian faith. This great task belongs to the family; the building of faith into the lives of our children must be taken very seriously. This is not the job or the school or Sunday school, but of the family.
