Continuing uplift my dear Aunt Wendy in Love & Prayers tonight, as it will be her last night of her earthly journey. She was in a coma for almost 2 weeks and then God gave us a beautiful miracle and she opened her eyes, began to talk a little bit, and wiggle her fingers and toes. We all had hoped and prayed that it was the beginning of her recovery, but unfortunately she coded that night and almost died. All of her organs in her body are continuing to shut down, and although she talked for a brief time when they took her off the ventilator, they put her back on because she was not able to breath on her own. Her daughter made the very difficult decision with the doctors today to remove all the the medication that they were pumping into her body to make her body function and tomorrow they will be removing the breathing ventilator, because it was her mothers wishes not to be resuscitated, and the doctors said that she would remain in a coma for the rest of her life and would only be kept alive by the machines. Everyones beliefs are different in life and although we may feel one way, we cannot impose our beliefs onto another. My family and my Aunt Wendys daughter do not feel that she would have wanted to live in a nursing home for the rest of her life, in a coma, with her body only being kept alive by machines, but that she would want to die with dignity. I continue to uplift my Aunt Wendy up to God in Love & Prayer that she will reach for Him with her soul, knowing He is a Good and Loving God that knows her and Loves her with an everlasting Love and that He is waiting to welcome her to her Heavenly Home to be greeted by the angels and saints, and especially by her mother and father, (grandparents and great-grandparents), her sister, Marie, my brother, George, and so many others know have gone before us. My Aunt Wendy has such a beautiful Spirit that will live on forever and ever! She is so encouraging, so uplifting and I will never forget how when I went to stay with her and my cousin, Lindsey, (her daughter), when I was about 13 how they took me to an amusement park near where they lived and she encouraged me to record a song in this really, neat recording studio that they had at the amusement park where you go in, pick a song popular song that youd like to record and then you go into the studio, headphones and all and you get to feel like a real pop-star and record this song, but not just that!!! Once they record your song, they then play it for all the amusement park to hear... and when they played my song, my Aunt Wendy was SO, very proud of me and kept telling everyone, Thats my niece singing! Isnt she amazing?!? I recorded that song and dedicated to my parents, saying at the beginning, This song is dedicated to Mom & Dad for their 20th Anniversary! Happy Anniversary! My parents Loved it so much and thought that I did such a great job that because of that recording they decided to sign me up for private singing lessons. I always felt so very grateful to my Aunt Wendy, who always knew from the time I was about 3 years old that I wanted to be a professional singer, and she was always telling me what a beautiful voice I had and that day at the amusement park she especially encouraged me to follow my dreams and helped me to believe in myself that I could make them come true!!! Im not done believing in and following my dreams! I have written many songs, and I have many more to write and sing and record and I will especially continue to follow and believe in my dreams in honor of my Aunt Wendy! She always knew how to make not just me, but everyone feel so very special and Loved! The song I recorded that day at the amusement park was Whitney Hustons Greatest Love of All. She has a beautiful heart of gold, filled with so much Love, and although her human heart will die, her beautiful Spirit will live forever! God will raise her up, the way she was always raising everyone else up, this I know for sure! Heavens choir of angels will greet her singing, as she is welcomed Home to her true Heavenly Home, where they will be no more suffering and pain. Please keep my Aunt Wendy and our family in your prayers. Tomorrow will be a very difficult day, to say the least, though, we find Joy in knowing that she is Heaven Bound... and will meet our Lord face to face and be wrapped up in His Loving arms of Tenderness and Grace.
