Contract Position; Based: PJ BI Project Manager (01 Year Contract) - Require individuals with skills in project management, and ideally with industry experience in the following areas: development of data warehouses, system integration, development of WEB applications, support, maintenance, improvement of applications. - An experienced hands-on Business Intelligence Project Manager with experience managing projects in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tool like IBM Cognos - Require excellent analysis and understanding of Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence solution. - Be proficient in all aspects of BI/Data Analytics and Information Management processes, technologies and architectures. - Understand the Sales & Marketing business environment. Facilitate work between business and IT groups to translate requirements and enable creation of value IT/BI solutions. - Review the technical design of the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution proposed by vendors and provide advice and guidance to ensure the solution follows the good design practices and delivers the regional objective of standardization. - Understand and anticipate strategic, market and operational needs, - Translate those needs into effective processes, technical solutions by coordinating resources. Requirement: - Fluency in English (negotiation level) + second language (Chinese is an added advantage). - At least 6-8 years experience in IT Projects (medium to large scale) /Functions - Familiar with SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI) is an advantage. - Business Orientation to IT projects. - Technical educational background. - Good leadership, strong analytical, problem solving, and good interpersonal skill. - Flexibility to travel is a must as job involves 50%-70% travelling. - Able to work with various functional user groups to gather requirement, review technical document and coordinate the design of tactical Reporting and Analytic Solutions - Able to design and deploy robust, scalable and dynamic enterprise wide framework manager meta data models. - Experience on deploying components for all Operational, Analytic and Ad-Hoc data/reporting needs. - Experience on developing a Best Practice approach to all Business Intelligence and Cognos development. Includes architecting all Business Intelligence corporate standards, naming conventions, deployment schedules, project timelines and operational support needs. - Able to collaborate with global teams to assist in architecting an optimal and integrated Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse solution. - Must have IBM Cognos experience Remark: - Considering local Malaysians or Malaysia PR holders. - Possibility of an extension is based on performance & project. - Interested candidates may forward their resumes via PM or email to beverly1techsap@gmail
