Controversy trails rumoured reduction of UNIOSUN Ikire campus reparation fee . . . . . . The controversial N30, 000 reparation fee slammed on students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Osun State University, Ikire, over violent protest associated with looting and vandalism, was yesterday reportedly slashed by Osun State governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola. According to the said report, the fee was slashed from N30, 000 to N10, 000 and this led to heated debate among the Faculty students. But, findings revealed that the report was not true. Commenting on the report, a reliable source said, Ive called people to confirm, but none has attested to the authenticity of the said report. Another source who also commented on the matter disclosed, I doubt it, nevertheless, I will do my findings. As at the time of filing this report, none of the contacted sources has confirmed the report.
