Conventional wisdom says something about not judging someone until one stands in their shoes. I am thinking that even then, the judging is an empty proposition because my feet will not fit in anyone elses shoes the same way theirs do. Every single human experience is unique. Yes some embark upon very dark and destructive paths. Some adopt violence and abuse and live by the sword, actual and rhetorical. But the value of the life, the relationship to the Ultimate, the scary reality that even good people have gotten caught up in some nasty stuff should be reminders to us to speak and act carefully when we confront darkness. And Wisdom once spoke about always looking in before looking out. Something about specks of dust and timbers and who was really blind. Peace on your paths today, friends. :)
