Cooking with a five year old. We are making potato salad and need a few hard boiled eggs. I have to leave the kitchen for a few minutes to grab a load of laundry from upstairs. Dani wants to continue cooking. So I tell her to put a couple inches of water in the bottom of a pan and put 8 eggs in it. A few minutes later she comes to me with sticky fingers and says, Im done! I cracked 8 eggs into the pan. Lol!!! I have never made hard boiled eggs that way! On the bright side she did not have a single shell in the pan!
