Cooks for Christ ~ David Dodge Chicken Bog Benefit ~ Thurs Nov 6th! ** Deadline for orders is Tues at 5:00pm! ** David Dodge is married to Susanne Briggs Dodge and they are natives of New Jersey. They were forced to relocate to Florence where his family resides because of failing health. He had a kidney transplant on July 4, 2014. However, his body is threatening to reject the new kidney and he is forced to travel to Charleston 3 – 4 times a week to receive plasma treatments. David is unable to work and his medical bills, medications and travel expenses are staggering. Cooks for Christ is raising funds to help David with these expenses. His benefit will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the West Florence Fire Station on Pine Needles Road in Florence. Lunch will be served from 11:00am until 2:00pm and dinner will be served from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. A bake sale will be held all day. Plates are $7.00 each and lunch and dinner can be delivered for orders of 7 plates or more. Please make checks payable to Susanne Briggs Dodge for Medical Funding.
