Cool. On top of the 2-3 of snow expected, the storm has slowed (which means even more snow because it stays overhead longer and its fueled by the ocean), were now expecting _thunder snow_. In an ice storm December 2008 and again 3 years ago with 12 before Halloween, over 40 trees in our yard were damaged. Because this will be wet and heavy despite being so cold, theres a lot of expected tree damage. Those two other storms made the entire region look like it was on the losing side of an artillery barrage. Roads statewide close at midnight in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Public transportation including commuter rail shuts down too.
