Cooler and Unsettled This Weekend; Warming Again Next Week Much cooler weather will arrive this weekend, as unsettled conditions return to the Northwest. Not unlike two weeks ago, temperatures in many western areas that were around 90 degrees as recently as Wednesday will only reach into the 60s or even 50s on Saturday. An increase in clouds and winds are expected, as temperatures drop closer to normal values. Showers will be possible in most areas, with Sunday being the more active weekend day. Still, prolonged rainfall is unlikely anywhere, since showers will remain isolated to scattered in nature. Afternoon highs should be significantly cooler than in recent days, while a more modest cooling of low temperatures is expected.
