Cootamundra LAC media briefing HARDEN Motor Vehicle Accident About 9.10am on Tuesday the 9/12/2014 a Subaru Forester was being driven by a 56yr old male from Harden in a Westerly direction upon Swift Street Harden. At the same time a 79yr old male from Harden was driving his Ford Falcon sedan in a Northerly direction upon East Street Harden. Upon both vehicle reaching the intersection of East Street and Swift street the 56yr old male has failed to give way causing the vehicles to collide. Both vehicle required towing and the 76yr old female passenger in the Ford Falcon was conveyed to Harden Hospital as a precaution as she was complaining of back pain. The 56yr old male was issued an infringement notice for failing to give way. TUMUT Stolen Motor Vehicle Between 11pm on Tuesday the 9/12/2014 and 8.40am on Wednesday the 10/12/2014 a Green Mitsubishi Pajero was stolen from a Lambie Street address in Tumut. The rego of the vehicle is BS32DA, if anyone has any information in relation to this stolen vehicle they can contact Tumut Police on 69477199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. YOUNG Goods In Custody/Tresspass Between Friday the 5/12/2014 and Monday the 8/12/2014 the Young Technology High School was broken into with two sets of UNIDEN two way radios and 4 IPADS stolen. About 12pm on Tuesday the 9/12/2014 Police received information that a young person was in possession of one of the radios in Carrington Park. Police spoke with the young male and located a radio in his back pack which matched the description of one of the stolen radios. Police left the location to make further enquiries and a short tiem later received a call that the young person had entered the high school grounds and was not permitted to be there. Police arrived and arrested the 15yr old male for Goods In Custody and Tresspass, he will appear in Young Childrens Court at a later date.
