Copied WHAT TO DO WHILE WAITING Waiting period always go along with weariness of heart. It is a time when thick cloud engulf ones soul, and tears roll down from eyes. While waiting, mind travelling round the world in your heart and gives information about your mate that have gone ahead of you and it will seem as if you will never meet up with them. It is also a period inbetween your struggle and breakthrough, it may be short or long. What are you waiting for? Is it fruit of the womb, job, promotion, husband, wife, or admission? While you are waiting, these are the things you can do: 1. Continue with what you are doing for GOD, never relent in GOD’s work. While Adam was waiting for wife (Eve) he kept on doing what he was doing for God, naming animals, trees, and putting things in order in the Garden of Eden. When Zachariah (the father of John the Baptist) was waiting for the fruit of the womb, he kept on doing the work of the ministry. Don’t relent from every good work. After all, nobody can find solution to your challenges except the Almighty God. 2. You can use the period to groom yourself the more. Know more about what you are waiting for. 3. Pray less and praise more. 4. You can have a mentor, but nobody can encourage you if you don’t encourage yourself 5. While waiting, don’t sin against God. It can be more terrible 6. Don’t resent anybody that he or she is the one responsible for your challenges 7. Celebrate with people that have what you are waiting for 8. Be cheerful always, even if it is not your nature 9. Be open minded. Some people will insult you, Some will call you names, some will laughat you, some will talk to you as if you are not praying about the matter, some will use your case to cite an example when they know you are there, and some will use your case to catch funs in the presence of people. Don’t mind all of them GOD is about to turn your case around. 10. Don’t be asking God when? How? Where? Why? GOD is not slow concerning His promises .it is just a matter of time. TYPES OF WAITING 1. Self- created waiting: sometimes, we cause ourselves more delay in life by our act of carelessness, negligence and taking things forgranted. In this type of waiting, it’s as if one iswaiting for nothing sake. Also, our horrible past can cause us to wait. But all the same, our GOD is the GOD of second chance, you cango back to HIM. 2. Enemy. Remember, the Bible says “For this reason, the son of GOD has been revealed to destroy the work of satan” 3. Divine waiting: this has nothing to do with you, it is just a test of time, it will soon be over. There is glory at the end of every waiting. “At the time I have decided, my words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time but keep on waiting… it will happen!” Habakkuk2:3 (CEV} “GOD is not a man, that He should change His mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19 [NIV] By this time tomorrow, next month, or next year as your case may be, the GOD of Heaven will bring to you what you have been waiting for in the mighty name of JESUS.
