Avoid conversations about indoctrination for now - this is hurting our cause. Focus on funding, privacy and effectiveness. Please avoid the words brainwashing or evil. 2. Avoid partisan politics - Legislators have been very clear that they do not wish to hear this. Common Core is not a partisan debate, there are plenty on both sides of the aisle opposing it. 3. Speak only with facts, not opinion or emotion. Cite government documents and administrative policy manuals to support your statements. Avoid pointing to communism or Hitler. 4. Keep communication concise and to the point. 5. Focus on educating others and motivating them to get involved and speak to legislators. It is better for 10 people to make contact with a legislator once than for 1 person to contact a legislator 10 times. Carry on core warriors, carry on.....
