He wants you to talk to Him and make no mistake He has something to tell you as well. What I have discovered these days is that we have limited prayers to us always doing the talking, with us always making the demands, doing the petitioning and making the requests. We hardly allow God to speak. When we are done with all that concerns us we simply say Amen! and that is that. Heaven must speak...that is a wrong attitude to prayer. Prayer is not a manipulative tool that orders God about to do our bidding. Prayer is a platform to communicate with God. It is a conversation where we speak and allow God to speak. We are simply not listening anymore...we are just talking which yield nothing but agitation. Prayer is not about getting what you want. It is about submitting our will to Heaven to tap into what God has for us. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed to seek relief from His divine assignment but when He yielded to the will of Heaven, Angels came and ministered to Him. The point is, in prayer we open ourselves up for the strength of Heaven to fill us so as to be able to carry to cross. When we pray, we receive strength, a renewed focus and a clear direction to go through the challenges of life. Learn to submit your will to God...allow Him the space to speak into your life and take on challenge. You have an end. Prayer may not change all things for you but it sure changes you for all things.
