Copied from my daughters status and I could not agree more with her! Not going to apologize about the verbiage either, shes pissed and so am I about whats being said. As a matter of fact, she was a lot nicer than I would have been... Until you walk this path as a person with ALS or as a caregiver or family member of someone with ALS you can never fully grasp the severity of this disease... Yesterday I got so upset about one writers article that I literally had to step back and take a moment to gather myself... I may post my response to her article later... Anyways, KUDOS to my daughter because this hits the nail on the head! Lizs Status: I love how people want to say its sad that everyone is doing the ALS challenge when people in Africa have barley any water when they clearly have never given a shit about it until now. The challenge is in remembrance to people who have had there lifes taken from this horrible disease and a way to raise money for it so if you have anything else to say its best to just keep quite because you truly have no idea what its like to lose someone you love to it and watch them suffer months on end. #annoyed with people
