The focal ribbon which measures 1 and 3/4 by 3/4 inches was formed from a 6 gauge solid copper wire, hand bent and manipulated to create a ribbon shape, which I then hammered to create that wonderful texture. I then filed and sanded to achieve smooth edges and to create those wonderful shadows that will develop a scrumptious patina as it ages. The 20 inch chain was created from solid copper 18 gauge wire, hand formed and then hammered to mirror the finish in the focal pendant. It is finished with a lobster claw closure on one side and an 8 inch extension chain for ease in sizing on the other. See closeups and other photos in the comment section.
